Tamil
Nadu Samuga Seva Sangam (TNSSS) established on 16th November 1969 and was
officially registered as per Societies Registration Act on 23rd December 1969. Situated in rural area in Tamil Nadu a
Southern State of India. A
seven-members Executive Committee Board participate in planning, supervising
and evaluating the activities of TNSSS. A well experienced and dedicated staff
implement under the able leadership of the Secretary.

We are a registered Voluntary Organization
functioning since 1969. I, Mrs. T. Mercy Annapoorni serve as the secretary of this
society from 1998. The society was found and run by a group of veteran Gandhian
leaders.
1. Destitute
Children Home.
2. Working Women's Hostel with mess facilities for working women.
3. Primary School for Children.
4. Creches for rural children of working mothers.
5. A Vocational Institute for Tailoring, Handicrafts and Embroidery.
6. Project on “Reproductive Child Health for rural women.
The society runs a Destitute Home for Children where 100 children in the age
group 5-14 are given food, shelter, education and medical facilities. The State
Government of Tamilnadu, provides a partly sum of Rs.200.- (5 US$) per month
for one child to provide all these requirements.
All these years, our children were fed with
these available resources. Now after the new management we are taking efforts
to give a better life and standard of living to these children by mobilizing
resources.

At present, we are taking strenuous efforts
to strengthen our malnourished children. They are in dire need of immediate
care and attention in all aspects of life.
We kindly request you to help our children
in distress. We are taking steps to provide some academical training. However,
now our children immediately need the basic requirements of medicines, food and
clothing.

Sad plight of a girl child, born to an unwed
mother, physically disabled, in tender age, Exploited, betrayed, now on the
streets, hit, assaulted and cast off.
All these people have one thing in common- they are all orphans or abandoned
destitute. But they have one more thing in common- MERCY at TNSSS.
We
welcome gifts of groceries, cookies vessels, rise, dhal, medicines, magazines,
toys, play items, charts, teaching aids, computers, cupboards, steel almirahs,
fans, tables, chairs.
