WHO
WE ARE:

Koteswararao born to a devout, Illiterate parents namely Smt.& Sri Gurubelli. Ammayamma Ramamurthy from a mediocre family in the village gangadharapeta, challavanipeta (post),Jalumuru (mandalam) Srikakulam district, State of Andhra Pradesh, South India. His parents were always interested for very poor, struggle, problem faced public servicing. They did not tolerate any attack or cheat to poor and weak persons in their village and fight for their justice. They never thought for earning themselves, but they spent their amounts for the development of the poor needy villagers so as to bring them from the social Evil viz.,” poverty.” Also they had in mind particularly for providing the minimum welfare amenities like Drinking Water, School Building, Electricity, Temple, Roads, properly usage of pond water for irrigation purpose etc. which were benefited to the general public. Always they tried to make them unity and liability. They used to offer advices to their children if we have sound wealth use it for the needy and poor communities without any disparity in caste, creed and religion for getting happiness and able to lead their lives properly with self respect, self reliance with dignity in the society.
In addition to the above the following such as food, clothes, and medicines were provided to the fish sellers, fruit sellers, vegetable sellers, pot sellers etc., near by our village and have their lunch at their home even though his parents have eight children to eking out their family burdens with great difficulties. His father resolved as a burden, commitment to reconcile the couple disputes, dowry pending cases harassment, suspecting cases, attacks, thefts by way of probing into the facts leniently by giving a good judgment. His parents were illiterates even though they did very good charitable activities which made them great respect and popularity adjoining to their nearby mandal villages. All the above made him inspired to do something for the general public. At this juncture he thought a lot for how to do it and finally decided to establish a volunteer organization in remembrance of his beloved parents. Eventually he selected the name as “Amma Anna Charitable Trust “and the meaning of ‘AMMANANNA’ is ‘ Mother & Father’.

He saw a lot of poor children, disabled, mentally retarded children, HIV infected children, older mothers/fathers, widows, street children, child labor in some areas of their mandal villages, and he has overcome with an intention to start Rehabilitation Centers for those beneficiaries and submitted his supplications to God for this need. He could not do justice to them alone and needs helping hands to cater the needs of the suffering people. He deeply felt that ignoring the poor people when they suffer is not pardonable so he would take this challenge to help wherever, whenever it is possible.

WHAT
WE DO:
Glimpse of ‘Induvadhana Child Welfare Home ‘:
Under the aegis of ‘AMMANANNA CHARITABLE TRUST (ACT) ‘, the ‘Induvadhana Child Welfare Orphan Home ‘began its services to the poor older Inmates (Boys & Girls) with a burden and commitment since 2010 at a backward village namely ‘Desapatrunipalem, Greater Visakhapatnam by providing them food, clothes, shelter and medical aid with our meager contributions with a view to eradicate their impeding problems on humanitarian grounds. The present strength of our ‘Induvadhana Child Welfare Orphan Home ‘ is 15 and manning with the qualified staff and prompt care being attended by us with our Governing Body of our charitable ministries. All the services are being provided to the Inmates without any charges.
Most of the children are put to work in ways that deny them their right to childhood. The children invariably work long hour’s everyday in poor, unhealthy and hazardous conditions knotting carpets, packing matches into boxes picking garbage, carrying molten glass and metal alloys without respite and recreation. Such work frequently leads to chronic illness, destroyed eye sight, physical and intellectual stunting and in many cases even pre-mature death. Most of the children belong to marginal communities and the socially and economically deprived groups. The worst consequence of all may be that child labor keeps children out of school, thereby preventing the development of their capabilities or priority for a long run solution up to poverty and exploitation. Estimates of the number of employed children vary from 14 million to 100 million in India and some of the most wide spread forms of child labor domestic help, agricultural and bonded workers especially girls are largely invisible. Child lour is not a economic compulsion of all poor families. It is the consequence of extreme social and economic exploitation. The only way to prevent child labor is to recognize that children’s rightful place in school not in the work place or in the house so that the first step is to ensure compulsory primary education for all children.

The Social status of the Poor, Needy & Downtrodden People of this project area for your kind consideration. These people are a product of extreme poverty and who are predominantly recruited as Land Labourer, Rickshaw pullers and also complete illiteracy of their educational status who therefore cannot bargain for a better deal. So the assured income from this employment is very meagre level to these category of people who are in turn not amenable to give proper education to their children. These category of people are reflecting in the society as Bonded Labour and ‘Social Evil’ Poverty is also prevailing in their Families. Cultivation is predominantly recruited and hence incidence of Crop failures due to inclement natural calamities are commonly experienced. At this critical juncture no assured income from agricultural works can be expected and therefore the need of providing alternative sources or income. The poor, needy and downtrodden people whom I see whom I dodge in hurry to distance myself from their plight, whose pride and will to survive alone I take as arrogance and a threat to my sequestered existence, are a result of socio-economic factors, some inevitable, others quite avoidable.
Our trust’s main emphasis is to provide basic literacy and facilities both for child labor/street children and other poor children for those who wish to study further and accomplish physical, intellectual and aesthetic development of the child. We are in opinion to provide medical aid and other provisions to the poor needy children, HIV Patients adults and children, older persons and other neglected communities at our backward villages through regular operation of a Mobile Medical Units at the nook and corners of our district in the ensuing period.
Both Mrs.G.Suguna, Chairperson & Managing Trustee and Mr.G. Koteswara Rao , Founder & Secretary as instruments are in passionate pursuit of excellence in their relationship with Almighty and share the love of God among poor needy older Inmates, disabled children and other needy orphan children both child labor/ street children so as to arrest their impeding problems on humanitarian grounds. They both are wife & husband bestowing their personal attention with their own moneys collected through their business income and the salary amount of the secretary in spending the same for the welfare of the poor since its inception. They look to the Almighty always for guidance and help though they have had the various kinds of difficulties including financial constraints while commissioning the contemplated activities. Yet they are not disappointed. For the benefit of a poor as their dedication remains inspired always positively in reaching their goals diligently.
As usual on 3rd December we organize ‘World Disabled Day’ and observance of ‘International Woman Day’ on 8th March at our project administrative office, Pedagantyada, Gajuwaka, Greater Visakhapatnam in every year with our Inmates, poor needy child labor/street children and normal children along with widows by way of encouraging them in distribution of clothes, food and paid travel subsidy with our paucity of donations availability. Apart from this with a view to take part in establishing communal harmony, this trust forges ahead to under take various social activities for the benefit / welfare of the community such as distribution of clothes to older persons, distribution of food items, clothes etc. to poor child labor/ street children and disabled children in slum areas, poor people feeding and so on with our meager contributions availability.
REALITY:
Poverty is rampant in our back ward villages in the District of Visakhapatnam. Disparity between the rich and poor is obviously launched in these villages. This village has the dubious distinction of having the largest number of bonded and child labor. Women & Children are thus exploited & denied education and their further prosperity. The plight of the unemployed youth is pathetic. Most of these children are worked as domestic labor with pitiful salaries. Children are thus exploited, denied education and future. The poor people of these villages are very pathetic. These poor people who live a hand to mouth life by earning for low & daily labor charges and miserable living conditions make them to send their children for low & mental jobs to earn some more additional income for eking out their families. In the absence of raids & famines occur, many people become unemployed.

Health
education is nearly imparted and most of the people suffer from
congenital diseases even without knowing about them. So mortality
rate in this project area and adjacent villages is far more than in
advanced societies. The nearest full pledged hospital is sometimes
about 25 to 30 kms away and it may be physically impossible to gain
entrance into a specialist hospital. Unhygienic conditions and
illicit contacts spread communicable diseases like cholera,
dioharrea, TB, Jaundice, HIV / Aids, Polio & deformities are
still prevalent. These particular villages have no facilities for
poor, destitute and disabled children in the matter of education,
health & protection. The people of these villages being
subjected to poverty the women have no alternative other than going
for work along with men-folk at different places to augment the
sources of their family.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
This Charitable Trust began social work humbly to encourage the poor needy child labor and street children and normal children by way of extending our support for education, food, clothes on free of charges so as to bring them as great citizens of our nation and support the older mothers and fathers totally 25 Inmates and 15 children inmates at our ‘ AMMANANNA OLD AGE HOME’ and ‘Induvadhana Child Welfare Orphan Home ‘ ,DESAPATRUNIPALEM (V), GREATER VISAKHAPATNAM by way of providing them both lodging and boarding facilities on free of cost without any disparity in caste, creed and religion since 2006 .

Status
of children and Older Persons:
The children both boys and girls who are residing our labor and migrate people living area being entangle with server economical problems obviously consequent on their poverty and illiteracy of their parents particularly in poor communities. And the older persons both female & male who are residing in our backward villages being entangled with severe problems through their characteristics may differ obviously consequent on their poverty and illiteracy particularly in poor communities . At present these older persons do not possess with good health and unable to do any work. Also they feel themselves that they are burden on their family. At this agonic situation, they become continuous of the attitude of the family towards themselves and they wish to die at the earliest.
‘Induvadhana Child Welfare Orphan Home ‘AmmaNanna Old Age Home:
Living conditions of Child labor/Street Children & Orphans:
This trust is founding adequate number of child labor/street children disabled, destitute orphan / semi orphan children who are inter linked to this organization and they are in need of assistance like shelter, food and educational facilities. The little flocks are starving like any thing and this ministries desires to open regular orphanages to these destitute children and make them as faithful children of Almighty by providing the food, shelter, clothes & educational facilities whenever if necessary. We felt it necessary to implement our proposed projects by inducting the poor needy disabled & normal children by way of nurturing them educationally, spiritually, physically, & socially through your magnanimous and unstinted support so as to enable us to serve the needy destitute children more effectively and experience the bliss of the “Spirit of Service”. We cannot alone to meet the running cost expenses of our existing Old Age Home following on our paucity of our contributions existence and unable to pay heavy building rentals with 10% hiked up abnormally every year. We hope that if we have an owned site eventually we can do more justice to these older Inmates and children by providing all the welfare amenities scrupulously for their better future life.
